About the role
Mercy Community Aged Care services are on the lookout for an Administrative Assistant to join our team based in Rockhampton on a permanent part time basis.
The role is responsible for providing a range of administrative, reception and customer service duties in support of service delivery to residents, managers, staff and visitors.
This role will include but not limited to:
- Accept and respond to telephone calls and reception enquiries including redirection or delivery of messages.
- Manage and maintain assigned registers and databases with accuracy in a timely manner
- Manage meeting bookings and confirmations as required including assistance with preparation, collation and distribution of meeting materials as required.
- Monitor and manage stationery and office equipment supplies and arrange orders as required
About you:
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Relevant qualification in business administration or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated intermediate ability to use computer IT systems including MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skill.
- Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
