Pump and Dredge Sales Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pump and Dredge Sales Engineer to join our team in Argentina and LATAM, driving sales efforts across the region.
Job Overview:
As the Pump and Dredge Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and offering technical expertise to promote EDDY Pump's dredging equipment and slurry pump solutions. You will work closely with clients in the mining, construction, municipal, and oil & gas sectors to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions. This role requires a strong engineering background, excellent sales skills, and the ability to work independently while representing EDDY Pump's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in South Africa and surrounding regions.
  • Identify and engage potential clients in industries such as mining, construction, dredging, and wastewater treatment.
  • Present and demonstrate EDDY Pump’s products, services, and technical solutions to prospective customers.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific dredging and pumping needs and recommend the best solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance and troubleshoot customer issues as needed.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Offer in-depth knowledge of EDDY Pump’s technology and solutions to clients.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities such as equipment selection, quotations, and product specifications.
  • Provide after-sales support, including installation assistance, training, and maintenance guidance.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams to improve offerings and stay competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales of industrial pumps, dredging equipment, or related machinery.
  • Strong understanding of pumping applications, dredging operations, and fluid dynamics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the industrial sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently across South Africa and neighboring countries.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the mining, construction, oil & gas, or municipal sectors.
  • Knowledge of slurry pump systems, dredging technologies, and related equipment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,881,500.00 - $3,500,000.00 per month
