Trust & Safety Introduction
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at Tik Tok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
To eliminate any doubt, this role involves reading, viewing, listening and examining user-generated content to ensure they comply with community guidelines. Content includes images, video, text related to every day life, but they can also include (but are not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
About Training & Quality Team
As a part of the Quality Operations team, the Live QA team is responsible for reviewing content from Tik Tok livestreams on TCS platform to ensure quality control and support the improvement of the moderation team’s quality. Additionally, we play a crucial role in handling appeal arbitration, providing feedbacks, and contributing to improving the effectiveness and market applicability of policies. We also offer language support for escalations and appeals tickets from Tik Tok Livestream users regarding content that violates or poses a risk to the platform.
What will I be doing?
Your role will be focused on quality assessment of cases in the appropriate quality measurement process of sampling, ground truth or other workflow types to measure accuracy for human moderation.
You will be responsible for auditing daily moderation tasks and support moderation performance improvements.
You will have to thorough data analysis, feedback problems & handle necessary escalation and weekly feedback on moderation quality.
You will cooperate closely with moderation teams and PES to ensure the moderation quality is up to standard and enhance the moderation consistency of the market.
You will participate in the development of quality inspection standards and continuously optimize the process and system platform.
Qualifications
What should I bring with me?
Minimum Qualifications:
You come with previous experience performing a role in a Content Moderation / Content Quality / Safety Environment / Quality Assurance in customer service.
Good English and Vietnamese proficiency, Bachelor's Degree or above.
You pay attention to detail and be comfortable with viewing inappropriate and harmful content on the internet.
Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
You have experience with content moderation and Trust-and-Safety, especially have deep knowledge of policy and the ability to quickly grasp policy updates daily.
Able to communicate effectively and cascade policy well to stakeholders.
