General
Ability to travel locally or oversea.
Ability to localize procedures and guidelines for QHSSE management.
Ability to deliver relevant QHSSE training to employees and vendors.
Ability to audit internal operation and vendors with customers / DB Schenker standards.
Application of DB Schenker / Customers standards within local context.
Liaise with QHSSE Senior Manager to implement QHSSE standards and requirements for DB Schenker and vendors operation.
Support the QHSSE risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive measures are undertaken.
Investigates, analyses and reviews incidents/accidents related to DB Schenker operation.
Audit subcontractors & follow-up to ensure adequate QHSSE performance.
Providing support for country commercial and trucking compliance efforts.
Together with Procurement / GREM / Land teams to manage the vendor performance.
Quality - GDP & ISO Implementation
Single contact point for all GDP & ISO related topics.
Implement GDP & ISO into required operations including Ocean, Air, Land and Contract Logistics.
Coordinate internally and externally to make sure GDP & ISO standards are maintained at approved levels.
Providing related trainings on GDP & ISO awareness to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure that a document control procedure is adopted to approve, review and update. all changes to critical documents within the scope of the Quality Management System.
Leading all the audits related to GDP & ISO to meet customers’ and DB Schenker standards.
Quality monthly reporting to the Regional Quality Manager (if any)
Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE)
Responsible for the local implementation and management of HSSE standards and procedures
Arrange staff training about HSSE and ensure that training records are kept.
Arrange HSSE audits on a regular basis as well as spot checks at irregular intervals.
Improve and enhance HSSE procedures, measures and systems.
Environment - Torch Reporting as per global requirement
Arrange HSSE audits on a regular basis as well as assessment on HSSE legal compliance.
Leading, support the team on QHSSE section for new projects, new customer’s requirements.
Qualification & Skills
Office computer skills.
Minimum university education preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working as QHSSE position with deep understanding of operational processes of Ocean, Air, Land (trucking) and Contract Logistics including 3 years of handling GDP and ISO implementation.
Experience of handling CTPAT Validation is preferred.
Degree holder or equivalent industry specific qualification (E.g TAPA, Nebosh, CTPAT, ISO)
Strong communication, presentation and training skills
Fluency in English and Vietnamese
Able to relate documents to real-life operational practices
