After School Enrichment Teacher

Qualifications:
- Energetic, upbeat and personal demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, prompt and excellent work ethic
- Loves working with students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work with up to 20 students
- Organizational skills and the ability to complete administrative tasks and follow lesson plans
- Skills and flexibility to work with a variety of students and schools/locations
- Two or more years experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Personal and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel around the DC metro area
All of our Instructors are caring and compassionate about teaching. They stimulate and teach the children valuable skills and help them meet their daily routine needs in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
Teachers are responsible for implementing lessons and activities using their excellent teaching and leadership skills. Teachers are required to complete LNM trainings and background checks, etc. ($30 an hour)
Assistant Teachers are responsible for assisting Teachers with implementing activities and supervising children. Aides are required to complete LNM trainings and background checks, etc. ($15 an hour)

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and fun instruction to students using the curriculum we provide to you
- Supervise students and ensure student safety and well-being
- Keep excellent records of attendance and lesson planning on our provided online forms
