Warehouse/Delivery Associate
Job description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various warehouse tasks as well as driving responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive a variety of vehicles
- Load and unload goods from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues regarding delivery details
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, picking orders, and maintaining cleanliness
Experience:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
