CONTRACT
Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator
Check in freight that comes in (manually), put items away, pull orders using a sitdown forklift, stand up (up to 20') or platform, but if someone does not like heights, they will get someone else to use the stand up or platform machine. Loading trucks and going to on offsite location (candidate would ride with someone in a Ferguson truck), and general housekeeping. Must be interested in learning all jobs as you will be cross trained. 95% of the work is completed indoors and 5% will be outdoors.
Qualifications:
A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
