Ward Clerk/Emergency Department Technician
Rome Health is currently searching for a Ward Clerk/Emergency Department Technician to provide general administrative, clerical, and support services. Duties will also include functioning as an emergency room department technician:

- General patient care to include accurate measurement of vital signs, weights, intake and output, assistance with meals, and special procedures according to established nursing procedures.
- Answers patient call light whether that of assigned patient, anticipates patient needs, & demonstrates a cooperative attitude when assisting patients.
- Completes Unit Specific Credentialing/Skills checklist with age specific credentials for population served.
- Will collect, label and transport specimens to proper areas upon request.
- Will report any change in patient condition or behaviors to the Clinical Leader or Staff Nurse in a timely manner.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 2-3 Years of experience preferred.
