Veterinarian - Companion Animal
North Straits Animal Clinic, in Cheboygan, Michigan, is looking for part-time, energetic, compassionate, companion animal veterinarians to join our team! The clinic has a "hometown" feel yet offers exceptional medical and surgical care to our patients. We are well equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, surgical suite with electronic patient monitoring, Deltalair unit, tonometry, and pharmacy. After-hours emergencies are referred elsewhere.
Responsibilities
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week

- Provide high-quality veterinary care to a variety of animals, ensuring their health and well-being.
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions using veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal physiology.
- Administer treatments, vaccinations, and medications as needed, while practicing proper animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care and treatment options.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure a safe and efficient clinic environment.
Pay: $100.00 - $125.00 per hour
