Associate Veterinarian (PT or FT)

Come join the Daniel Island Animal Hospital team! We are looking for a compassionate, qualified, independent, and experienced Veterinarian to work part time or full time (28+ hours). We are a 5 doctor veterinary family practice located within the beautiful, pet-friendly, Daniel Island community. In addition to our dedication to providing great medical care and client service, we emphasize work-life balance and a strong team environment to foster a long, successful career in the veterinary profession and with our hospital. We are a small animal clinic well equipped for wellness and diagnostic services as well as surgery, dentistry, in-house labs, and radiography. Our wonderful support staff has cultivated close relationships with our veterinarians to work together to provide the best care.
Full time status is achieved with a minimum of 28 hours which equates to 3 full days a week plus a rotating Saturday (1/4). We are looking for someone to work 1-4 days per week depending on availability and preference. Our FT associates have the flexibility to set a schedule that works for both themselves and the clinic. On surgery days associates are finished after surgery and usually leave the practice by about 2 pm.
We offer competitive wages. A base salary is given with commission bonuses paid every pay period. On average our veterinarians earn 27% of their total revenue with most full time veterinarians averaging a salary of 115,000 - 133,000 working an average of 28-32.5 hours a week before benefits.
Requirements:
- Current South Carolina State Veterinary Board License in good standing
- Availability to work one Saturday a month

Schedule:
We are open Monday-Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 8:30am to 12:30pm. Schedule can be negotiated and discussed upon interview. There are no overnights or on-call.
