Learns proper safety processes and procedures
Reads process sheets and checks frequently for updates
Identifies and verifies part names and numbers
Ensures use of proper materials and equipment prior to use
Setup tooling for the following machines such as: spot weld, PEM insertion, graining, sander
Assembly
Document use and wear of all tooling
Complete process checks prior to and during operation to confirm the following: tolerances, proper machine function, and quality standards
Maintain accuracy and motivation on repetitive jobs
Maintain a clean working area during and after your shift
Ensure machines and tools are clean and in proper working condition prior to, during and after use
Initiate process improvements
Assist in the implementation of manufacturing processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency
Support the development and documentation of manufacturing processes and procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce costs
Communicate clearly with the next shift regarding the following: Completed items, urgent items, machine/job details, items scheduled next, report any broken tooling or machinery in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 55 lbs on your own and up to 70 lbs with a team lift or equipment assistance
Ability to walk, bend, stoup, crouch, kneel, climb, stand for 10 hours
Ability to work in high temperatures
Ability to communicate needs and concerns in a timely manner
Ability to read and understand process sheets
Ability to hear horns, buzzers, and an intercom page, and respond accordingly
Ability to wear proper PPE- eye protection, gloves, and steel or safety toe shoes or boots
Ability to use electrical and manual tools
Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and drawings
Ability to use and understand MIE (MRP system)
Skills and Qualifications:
Ability to follow directions

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with tooling and equipment used in fabrication
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in manufacturing and assembly processes

Familiarity with lean principles
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
