We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee the operations of our healthcare unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of patient care processes. Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily operations within the unit, ensuring high standards of patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and support as needed.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols in all procedures.
Facilitate health coaching sessions for patients, promoting wellness and recovery.
Manage utilization of resources effectively to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and unit operations.
Coordinate training programs for staff on best practices in patient care
Address any issues or concerns related to memory care, ensuring a supportive environment for patients.
Experience
Previous experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
Proficiency in patient care practices
Familiarity with medical office systems and utilization management processes is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
A background in health coaching or related fields will be considered an asset.
