Worland Youth Learning Center
Position: Unit Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Function: To lead academic and recreational activities in the afterschool program.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities.
- Record attendance and provide support to students.
- Supervise students and manage behavior effectively.
- Communicate and professionally interact with parents.
- Foster positive relationships and encourage growth mindsets among students.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Supervise and oversee operations during short periods when the Executive Director is absent.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in student engagement and management.
- Experience with Project-Based Learning and STEAM is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification are required.
Schedule & Salary:
- School Year: Monday to Friday, 12 PM - 6 PM
Summer: Monday to Friday, varies between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hourly Rate: $18.00, with additional paid hours available.
