UA Team Lead - Commercial Casualty

Essential Job Functions

Account Assignment
Support UA’s in their assigned region with training needs
Tracking policy upload into Starr 360
Review draft policies prior to issuance
Other duties assigned by department manager
Special Projects as assigned
Conduct staff meetings as well as individual one on one’s
Daily contact with the Underwriter, Underwriting Analysts, Account Service Coordinator, brokerage community, vendors and teammates.
Review & clear submissions through Salesforce, send broker clearance confirmations, submission file setup, request missing submission data
Complete rating through various rating systems for WC, GL & AL lines of business
Premium booking within Starr programs & invoicing broker for premiums due
Policy Issuance
Service account needs (Endorsement, ODEN notice, Bureau Notices & Cancellation / Non-Renewal Notices as directed)
New file setup & maintenance
Running reports from Salesforce as well as other sources including auto close out updates

Skills/Experience Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational skills as well as able to quickly diagnose critical issues that should be escalated for immediate attention
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Team oriented attitude and approach

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000-$98,000.
