Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all construction phases of food and beverage manufacturing facilities, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Leverage knowledge of specialized requirements for processing facilities, including hygienic design, production line integration, and environmental controls.
- Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors, engineers, and internal staff to ensure seamless collaboration across all project stages.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and fostering strong relationships.
- Budget and Schedule Oversight: Develop and monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, addressing risks proactively to keep projects on track.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications, particularly in highly regulated environments.
- Travel Commitment: Work on-site at various project locations nationwide, adapting to the unique challenges of each facility.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in project management, specifically in Food & Beverage Manufacturing or similar processing environments (e.g., cold storage, pharmaceuticals, or industrial facilities).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of food processing facility requirements, including sanitation, equipment installation, and workflow efficiency.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Thorough understanding of safety and compliance standards, including FDA and USDA regulations as applicable.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. for project oversight.
