Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor the progress of labor and provide necessary interventions
- Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
- Assist with cesarean sections and other surgical procedures
- Educate mothers on newborn care and breastfeeding
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create individualized care plans for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
