Travel Registered Nurse - MS/Tele - Nashville, TN

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Nashville, TN
Weekly Compensation: Competitive pay (dependent on experience)
Facility: Correctional Health Facility
Shift: Day Shifts (3x12-Hour: 07:00 - 19:00)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in Nashville. This role requires experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing, flexibility to float, and comfort working with a prison population. Responsibilities:

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting within a correctional facility.
Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to telemetry data.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients on health management and self-care practices.
Float to other units as needed within the facility to support patient care.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in Tennessee.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
Required certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) as a substitute for CPI.
Must be comfortable working with the prison population.
First-time and local travelers are welcome at the same rate.
