Position responsibilities:

The Transportation Manager staffs, trains, evaluates, and develops team members by developing and leading improvement activities and engagement as well as monitors employee productivity and timekeeping

This role will ensures adherence to delivery standards and regulatory requirements while managing drivers’ delivery schedules and hours worked

The Transportation Manager develops and manages the transportation budget by reviewing and approving transportation invoices

You will also work directly with manufacturing plants and distribution centers to manage carrier relationships and conduct carrier meetings
