Join Our Team as a Transportation Dispatcher - Class A
Are you skilled in coordinating schedules and ensuring timely freight movements? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Transportation Dispatcher - Class A to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day operational communications and supporting our drivers to ensure efficient delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Transport Operations: Oversee the dispatch of drivers and vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fleet usage.
Monitor Fleet Compliance: Ensure all drivers adhere to DOT regulations and company policies.
Efficient Scheduling: Organize and maintain an effective driver schedule, accommodating any last-minute changes or requirements.
System Management: Utilize dispatch software to track vehicle status and driver location, updating systems as necessary for smooth operations.
Support Team Development: Work collaboratively with the team to develop procedures and strategies that enhance service delivery.

Skills and Competencies

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, necessary for effective interaction with on-site manager, drivers, customers, and clients.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address operational challenges swiftly and efficiently.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills to juggle various tasks and maintain schedule punctuality.
Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatch, tracking, and scheduling software, such as Mc Leod and Samsara.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in a dispatch or similar logistics role preferred.
Must have a Class A license.
Understanding of DOT regulations and fleet management practices.
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and new technology.

Benefits and Compensation

Competitive hourly wage of $28.00.
Working schedule: Sunday to Friday 3PM- 11:30PM/ Saturday Off and Tuesday (optional)
