~100 mile line in SE Kansas working for developer as an owner's representative.
Location:
On construction site for duration of project ~11 months. SE Kansas area with projects in New Mexico and Las Vegas.
Preferred Background:
Engineering or Construction Management or professional career in construction with min 10 years experience Transmission Construction and Commissioning.

Organization
Computer skills MS word, Excel, Oracle – Unifier, and MS Power Point
Communication and coordination of 3rd parties and subcontractors
Schedule and planning understanding
OH and UG HV Transmission Construction means and methods knowledge

Job Description:
To act as the Owner’s representative to oversee all aspects of the gen-tie facilities construction including interconnect, site work, status reporting, owner purchased material, safety, startup and commissioning, and project close out. This position is responsible for the overall management of the transmission line build (actual work to be done by others), to ensure compliance within required budgetary, scheduling, and safety goals. Employees in this role coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Employees in this role manage the procurement and construction activities necessary to construct, start-up, and commence commercial operations.
Job Responsibilities: · Ensures projects are efficiently, effectively and safely implemented in accordance with department procedures, local regulations, contracts and policies · Works collaboratively with resources and sub suppliers in various disciplines to determine project priorities, schedule and work plans to meet milestones · Manages sub tier suppliers to the requirements outlined in contracts or purchase orders as the lead manager and administrator · Reporting daily, weekly and monthly on progress, indicators, and recovery plans to upper management · Verifies constructability, ensures proper resource allocations, assesses field status and resolves issues as needed · Attends project meetings and reviews schedule, quality, and risk tracker · Interfaces with project's designated management committees or third parties, and acts as lead Company representative of project activities · Manage applicable execution requirements stipulated in the Interconnect Agreement, Purchase Power Agreement, and Independent System Operator to achieve back-feed, sync and commercial operation · Manages the QA/QC and mechanical walk down of planned work, validates acceptance of completed work to design requirements · Oversees mechanical completion and commissioning activities to meet applicable scope · Performs other job-related duties as assigned
