Next Step Bionics & Prosthetics is seeking to hire an on-site (full-time) Technician for the clinic in Warwick, Rhode Island. This clinic has a small, talented team that focuses on the highest level of patient care. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, service, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Core Responsibilities:

Fabricate, maintain, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices, according to prescription specifications and under guidance of a prosthetist
Tests device for freedom of movement, alignment of parts, and biomechanical stability
Complete work orders as assigned
Maintenance of all equipment and tools in the lab
Maintain and clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

High School Diploma
One to three years of experience in an industrial setting
Experience working in a machine shop, construction or auto repair preferred

Physical Requirements:
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; squat; bend; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach/pull/push with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
The US base hourle range for this full-time position is $24.41 - $30.00 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
