Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for an experienced Tax Accountant at Duncan, Messersmith, and Associates, Ltd. Depending on experience, the Tax Accountant may oversee a small team with tax planning, compliance, preparation, and ensuring adherence to tax laws. The role is primarily located in Hot Springs, AR, with flexibility for some remote work.

Tax Accountant Qualifications:

A strong ethical compass
Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax Preparation skills
Knowledge of Tax Law
Must value a curated client experience
Minimum 5 years experience in tax management, research, and compliance
Willing to learn our proprietary client advisory and delivery systems
Sense of humor - we know accountants aren't supposed to have one but your secret is safe with us
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
CPA certification is preferred but we will consider experience above all
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
