Guaranteed Hours: 40
Shift: Nights/ Rotating

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized for patient safety.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring medical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized for patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decontamination: Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and surgical equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Sterilization: Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, chemical sterilizers) to ensure instruments are properly sterilized for patient safety.
- Inventory Management: Inspect, organize, and restock sterile supplies, ensuring all items are properly labeled and accounted for.
- Inspection: Inspect all surgical instruments for damage, functionality, and cleanliness. Report any issues to the supervisor.
- Quality Control: Maintain detailed records of sterilization processes and ensure
- compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines (such as OSHA, CDC, and hospital policies) to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with surgical teams, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate instrument availability.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Certification in Sterile Processing (e.g., CBSPD, IAHCSMM) , AHA BLS required
- Experience: Previous 1 year of experience in a sterile processing department required.
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
