Staff Attorney
STAFF ATTORNEY – ST. Croix
DESCRIPTIONS: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, an immediate supervisor or a Managing Attorney, the staff attorney renders legal services in a civil field to eligible persons and groups consistent with professional ethics and the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
DUTIES: Will provide legal assistance to eligible clients in civil matters.
QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated ability to work with low income and/or disadvantaged individuals; victims of crime or domestic violence; licensed to practice law in the USVI or any other U.S. jurisdiction; and computer literate. The successful applicant, if not regularly admitted to the VI Bar, must become admitted to practice in the USVI within one year of their date employment. Bilingual, Spanish desired.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
