Solar QA/QC

We are seeking Solar QA/QC Specialists for upcoming, full-time positions Nationwide. Responsibilities

Site Inspection: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting: Review and maintain documentation of inspection results, and provide feedback to the installation team and management.
Testing and Verification: Verify that all components, including panels, wiring, and structural attachments, meet quality standards. Perform tests on electrical and structural systems to ensure functionality and safety.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that installations meet local, state, and federal regulations, including NEC codes for electrical components.
Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for quality control and safety in solar installations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the installation process and work with the team to implement quality improvements.

Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in solar QA/QC, electrical inspection, or related field is highly beneficial.
Travel: Willingness to travel out of state.
Certifications: OSHA-10/OSHA-30 certification is preferred. NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certification is a plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV systems, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and quality control processes.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality installations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and feedback to teams.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform site inspections in various weather conditions, including climbing ladders and accessing roofs.
