Job description
Maximus is a leader in providing specialized assessment services and is partnered with the State of Virginia to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.
PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed into nursing homes for long term care services.
We are seeking mental health professionals in Virginia to conduct PASRR assessments as an independent contractor. These assessments will be completed in-person, typically at a nursing facility or hospital. Independent contractors are compensated for each completed assessment.
We are looking to expand our independent contractor network in and around the following counties:
Warren, Shenandoah, Emporia, Greensville, Galax, Carroll, and Prince Edward.

- Master’s degree in human services or a related field.
- Minimum of two years direct adult clinical behavioral health experience
- Must be conflict of interest free, which includes no current employment with nursing facilities.
