NYDIG is looking for a full-time Site Technician l to join our rapidly growing team. This person will be responsible for retrieving and placing computers according to a ticketing system. The person will also be responsible for data collection and fulfilling various projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
● Frequent exposure to heat, cold and other adverse weather conditions.
● Work in and around industrial and construction settings, which may include extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
● Frequent heavy lifting with and without assistance. (need to define heavy)
● High School Diploma or GED
● Hold a valid driver's license
● Reliable attendance at work
Requirements
● Detail Oriented – need the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks.
● Diligent – the computers will have many small and complicated parts. You will need to be patient during recovery and transportation of computers.
● Flexibility – we are a small company and everyone is expected to assist one another. This means that your responsibilities can change frequently and at short notice.
● Tolerance to Harsh Conditions – our working environment is both indoors and outdoors and includes cold rooms with excess wind speed and hot rooms. You also don’t mind getting dirty.
● Hard Worker – we expect 100% effort and commitment in all your tasks.
● Team Player – you will be working with people from different departments as well as team members within your own department.
Preferred Skills
● Experience with computer hardware
● Trade/labor experience
● Experience with various environmental conditions
● Forklift certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
