Shop Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in servicing various types of equipment, locks and automotive repair. This role involves hands-on work in a shop environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining locks and cutting keys to ensure optimal performance.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on locks.( All types)
- Duplicating and programing keys.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
- Delegate multiple tasks at once.
- Stay up to date on new products and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn and execute new skills
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to get a locksmith license after one year
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must keep and maintain a clean appearance.
- Mechanical Knowledge 2 Year ( Required)
- Customer Service 2 Years (Required)
- Locksmith 1 Year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
