Shipping/Receiving & Backup Delivery Driver
Who we are:
CEP (Controlled Environment Products), a division of RJ Kool Company, is looking for a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate / Backup 26-foot Box Truck Delivery Driver in our North Kansas City, MO location. This division is responsible for our chemical, janitorial and sanitation product sales. Currently branches of CEP are also located in St. Louis and Springfield, MO. We are a family-oriented business that promotes from within.

What You Will Do:
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Learn the products we offer and where they are located within the warehouse.
- Check-in and put away product deliveries, verifying quantities accurately and quality of items received.
- General Warehouse duties include, but are not limited to, organization, cleanliness, stocking/picking items, loading company vehicles accurately and order fulfillment.
- Completing Bills of Lading for shipping via UPS and Fed Ex
- Treating customers and fellow team members with courtesy and respect.
- Participating in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
- Perform other responsibilities as directed.
- Serving as a backup delivery driver when needed for the company 26-foot box truck; Driving a company assigned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
- Unloading & delivering product as needed at customer and/or branch locations.
- Interacting with customers in a professional, ethical, and friendly manner.
- Must hold and maintain a valid Class E driver’s license and DOT Physical including an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally items will exceed this weight, but two-wheel hand trucks and additional equipment are available to assist with this.
- Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
- The ability to apply sound reasoning and logic while performing daily tasks.
- Performs all job responsibilities in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Must be able to work individually, but also as a team player.

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- 26-foot Box Truck Driving: 1 year (Required)
