Shipment Package Handler/Delivery Driver
Job Summary
Love Dogs? Crazy about Cats? We are looking for like-minded individuals to help feed more dogs and cats Just Food For Dogs. The Shipment Package Handler/Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of products between our warehouse and retail locations. You will also be responsible for assisting the sales team in packaging of same day or next day deliveries or shipments, helping maintain an organized and clean store environment, and movement of inventory as needed. You must enjoy driving, even in LA traffic, as you will be spending a lot of your time in the car!
Our ideal candidate is an independent worker capable of closely following directions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and manage or complete logs and reports. You must have a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a large vehicle. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
A company vehicle will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Continual lifting, carrying packages, and loading truck with JFFD products
- Follow routes and correct time schedule
- Deliver packages to different addresses throughout the day or week
- Delivering products while following safe driving practices
- Unloading products at the specified delivery location
- Inspect and operate company vehicle
- Confirming all pick-ups / drop-offs in our inventory management system
- Complete logs and reports
- Keep stations organized, clean, neat, and stocked
- Move inventory, pack, and load product efficiently and safely
- Complete tasks assigned accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Required: valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass and maintain background clearance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preference given to those with professional driving experience
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow written instructions
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Comfort with i Pads and inventory management systems
- Comfort with change (as we are a rapidly growing business)
- Able to accurately use basic math skills
- POS and i Pad skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
