Shift Captain Personal Shopper (Store #43, Kapolei)

Foodland is looking for energetic, outgoing and responsible individuals with a passion for excellent customer service, to join our Guest Services team as Shift Captain Personal Shopper. This is a full-time hourly position and reports to the Store Director, Assistant Store Directors. Ideal candidates have strong customer service focused skills, are excellent communicators, highly motivated, detail oriented, positive, outgoing and organized. Shift Captain Personal Shopper provides superior customer service to all customers who visit Foodland and acts as a liaison between the store, shopping center and the surrounding community. Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
Have a full understanding of the Foodland-To-You service and execute outreach to bring in customers
Help customers create accounts, place orders, and trouble shoot
Responsible for picking customers’ orders with 100% accuracy and must select products that are the best quality (produce, meat, seafood, canned goods etc.)
Picking the order using a mobile device
Work with other in-store departments to fulfill orders
Pick items for substitute
Calling customers regarding order for substitutes or out of stocks with excellent customer service
Review, validate, ringing and true-up (charge customer online), bagging and closing out orders
Complete any necessary add-ons or refunds to customers order on the POS and on the webform
Delivers order to customer by curbside pick up
Delivers orders that are accurate and on time to customers while providing excellent customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile
High attention to detail is a must, including minimal or no transactional errors, in order to double check the orders picked for quantity/quality control
Professional, helpful and friendly attitude coupled with ability to listen, train team members of the SOP’s of the Foodland-To-You Program
Excellent customer relations skills as a problem solver with an interest in resolving customer issues
Must be able to independently make good judgement to handle customer issues and use discretion to bring up issues to Store Director when it can’t be handled on their own
Must be able to provide shift coverage in the absence of Lead Captain
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
Must be able to pass qualifications for Hui
must pass math test and cashier training after hire
must be able to deliver orders to customer by curbside pick up
must be able to complete grocery deliveries
able to lift, maneuver, and/or carry 50 pounds, at, above and below waist level
able to successfully operate company systems and machines used for ordering, navigation, and transportation
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays (open/flexible availability required for full-time positions)
Must have valid TB clearance
Must comply with all company policies and requirements
