Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Service Technician to join our team. As a Fire Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing product fire protection equipment such as portable fire extinguishers, pre-engineered fire suppression systems, and emergency lights. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify issues
- Repair or replace defective parts or components
- Install, calibrate, and test new equipment
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Provide training and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and Fire alarm systems
- Ability to fabricate and modify components as needed
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
