Service Assistant - Job Description
The Service Assistant provides support to the President and serves as the primary point of contact. Must be creative, a critical thinker and enjoy working independently in an entrepreneurial environment. The ideal individual will be dependable and able to exercise professional judgement in a variety of situations, Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills. Requires the ability to work independently on projects and maintain superior client service, while working under pressure at times on a wide variety of activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing an active calendar; taking and addressing incoming calls, database management; handling and preparing correspondence; servicing clients with changes to accounts; preparing documents and conference areas for client meetings; opening and closing the office.
Work proactively with President to keep her informed of upcoming commitments, licensure renewals and client needs or concerns.
Schedule financial checkups via telephone with clients, ensuring superior client service, satisfaction, and retention.
Support and model the brand through professional dress, communication and demeanor.
Manages a variety of special projects.
Maintain effective daily operations and make suggestions for process improvements.
Seek to continually improve professional skill set and capabilities through active self-study educational opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
3+ years of related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Deadline-oriented multitasker
Ability to make good decisions under pressure.
Strong organizational skills
Be willing to get licensed (all paid for by Empire) to advance your knowledge and pay level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
