Job I.D: 2303 Job Title: Inbound Outbound Scheduler Assistant Duration: 12+Months Work Timing: 7 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. Location: 9601 F Street, Omaha NE 68127 Position Description 1. Schedule shipments In and Out of plant 2. Put together day by day outbound shipment schedule for shipping – cross-docking, warehouse, pass-thru, and dual pack. 3. Process emergency requests for soonest possible delivery. 4. Investigate and clear up all potential order cuts. 5. Check carrier pool to ensure equipment availability. 6. May check production vs. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) staging date/time, as applicable. 7. May monitor AGV staging and loading operation, as applicable. 8. Maintain functional warehouse inventory levels. 9. Manage the floor balance 10. Coordinate with Uber for equipment availability 11. Relief/Cross train with Inventory Controller 12. May coordinate receiving of raw and packing materials and ingredients. 13. May be required to complete customs documentation. 14. Ensure adherence to all standard work processes. 15. Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Food Safety – plant in proper sanitary condition at all times, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines followed. Compliance with food safety policies and procedures. 16. Responsible for supporting the execution of relevant projects within assigned area Skills Required - Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required - Demonstrated ability to manage complex situations is required - Position requires disciplined/detailed planning and flexibility - Strong problem-solving ability and negotiation skills with internal and external customers is required - Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization. - In addition, the ability to function in a union environment (where applicable) and promote positive employee relations is required. Experience Required - To ensure timely / accurate shipments to Distribution Centers and Customers. - To process all emergencies efficiently. - May coordinate receiving of raw and packing materials and ingredients. Experience Preferred - Experience with SAP and applicable inventory location system is preferred.
