Sales Associate (Seasonal)

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. Candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to effectively sell products while maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance in selecting products.
Demonstrate product knowledge.
Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions and processing payments efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
Utilize basic math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and transactions.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
Familiarity with operating cash registers is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
