Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing techniques and materials, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety. This role involves working on diverse roofing projects, including residential and commercial buildings, and requires a commitment to restoring and maintaining roofs to ensure their longevity.
Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal.
Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of roofing materials on construction sites.
Conduct inspections to assess the condition of roofs and identify necessary repairs.
Collaborate with team members to build structures that are plumb and level.
Execute masonry work as needed for roof installations or repairs.
Lay tile as part of roofing systems or for decorative purposes.
Utilize metal stud framing techniques in conjunction with roofing projects.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Skills

Proficiency in metal stud framing and trim carpentry.
Strong knowledge of masonry techniques related to roofing applications.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Experience in tile laying for both functional and aesthetic purposes.
Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during projects.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
