Retail Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. You will assist customers in finding the right products, ensuring a positive shopping experience while contributing to the overall success of our retail operations.
Base Pay + 2.5% Commission on Sales
We are looking for 2 Full Time Sales Associates in addition to 1 Part Time Sales Associate for the evenings (~5-9PM / 10 PM) and weekends.
Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
Product knowledge to effectively provide services
Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Operate the cash register accurately, processing transactions efficiently and handling cash responsibly.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product features, and store policies to provide informed assistance.
Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement.
Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing to attract customers.
Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.
This position will require you to work at our Penfield, Monroe Avenue and Victor locations.

Skills

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong selling skills with the ability to upsell effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive customer interactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in grocery store settings or similar retail environments is advantageous but not required.
Experience in sales is advantageous but not required
Candidates with knowledge on Cannabinoids, Kratom & Kava would be the strongest applicants

We are not a "Smoke Shop", we are professionals in our field and we are looking for other like-minded individuals. On top of a base salary, chosen candidates would also receive 2.5% of their gross sales as a commission, paid monthly.
