JOB DESCRIPTION:
The House of Hope Residential Night Aide ensures the safety and security of the facility and its clients by conducting regular checks of the facility and grounds. Is responsible for calling the Directing Physician and Operations Director if they have any indication or suspicion a client is in need of medical care or is at threat of leaving the facility.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the safety of the building as well as its occupants.
General housekeeping.
Reports any medical issues or concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to unexpected or spontaneous client needs if any, during overnight hours.
Ensure the safety of the clients at all times.
Exercise good judgment and remain calm when called upon.
Assist Breakfast Chefs, if needed.
Remove trash from offices.
Completes filing nightly
Stock restrooms in Access Center and shelter.
Reporting equipment or structural items in need of repair.
Other duties as required for the maintenance of the facility.
Complete site maintenance and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Daily cleaning of restrooms.
Ensure kitchen and dining areas are clean.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Valid Alaska driver’s license.
Qualify for commercial automobile insurance.
First aid and CPR training preferable.
Friendly, Positive, and Professional attitude.
Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills.
Must be able to pass alcohol and drug screen.
Punctuality and consistent reliability in reporting to work.
Efficient time management skills and consistent reliability in reporting to work on time and prepared.
Must be physically able to do lifting, carrying of supplies, and manual labor related to
cleaning and repairs
