The Residential Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of all assigned residential homes to ensure all persons served receive quality services. Includes competitive base pay, afterhours hourly pay rate, cell phone and company vehicle. We have one opening: Located in Lexington, TN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Act as the liaison between Easter Seals and the families/conservators of persons served
Ensure professional and timely communication with ISC, DIDD and other funders
Ensure that communication is well documented
Work collaboratively with the case management team to ensure each program participant has a comprehensive and accurate record
Work collaboratively with the scheduler to ensure all shifts are filled according to the LON and regulations
Work collaboratively with other residential managers to address program needs
Provide on-call supervision to address issues that arise in the homes outside of regular business hours
Work in the homes to cover open shifts or emergency staffing needs
Work collaboratively with other department managers to address agency and programmatic goals
Work collaboratively with HR to institute retention strategies
Complete unannounced supervisory visits as required by funders
Ensure that all staff documentation, including fire drills, site visits, and daily notes, is completed on time
Provide education and training for employees on policies and procedures
Ensure that all employees are following policies and procedures and address any deviations
Ensure that Reportable Incidents are properly addressed and follow through actions are carried out timely
Monitor the income and expenditures of all persons supported
Direct supervisor to Home Supervisors, Home Leads, and DSPs
Provide mentoring and training to residential staff
Participate in Circle of Support meetings and provide guidance on actions necessary based on outcomes from these meetings
Review Individual Support Plans to ensure goals established for persons served are being implemented through meaningful services
Monitor systems to ensure business needs are being met and develop action plans for any deficiencies. These systems include medication systems and persons served databases.
Work collaboratively with the agency technology champions to implement the Enabling Technology Project in each residential home
Advocate for persons with disabilities
Other duties as assigned by management
WORK ENVIRONMENT This position generally operates in a professional office environment. In addition, the position will spend 15-20% of time in residential homes. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires the employee to regularly talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education
Associates’ degree related to social services or management
OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Experience
Required: Experience leading teams in a social services environment. Experience working in a fast paced environment
Preferred: Knowledge of DIDD programs, policies and procedures; knowledge of manpower planning; experience in the direct care profession
Licenses/certifications
Valid driver’s license
Valid automobile insurance
Current Medication Administration certification

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in written and verbal communication with all levels of staff as well as service recipients
Ability to organize and keep detailed records
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and other programs as applicable
Ability to multi-task with good time management skills
Working knowledge of the program’s computer systems
Ability to make decisions in the best interest of persons’ served
Ability to learn new skills, including using computer programs
