The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description This is an entry level position. Under the supervision of the Director of Residential Life, the Residence Hall Director (RHD) is responsible for coordinating the operation of one or more co-ed residence hall facilities of about 200 residents; supervising Resident Assistants (RA); and coordinating services and programs that produce a residential experience that ensures the quality of life, well-being and personal development for about 850 diverse students residing in the residence halls. Residence halls operate on a twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week basis. The Residence Hall Director participates in weekend and evening assignments throughout the year. This is a full-time, 12-month, live-in position (one-bedroom apartment, bathroom, and a combined living room kitchen area).
