Resale Driver/Associate
Summary of position:
The number one priority of this job is to support the Resale Manager to ensure smooth operations of the Coalition Resale Shops and Donations Center. This position demands a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers and the general public. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and show flexibility when unexpected changes occur.
Ø Assist with loading and unloading of donations and purchases
Ø Distribute items to the appropriate shop or campus
Ø Monitor Resale facility maintenance including trash, light bulbs…
Ø Support the maintenance of the box trucks and other equipment at the direction of the Resale Manager
Ø Perform large item pickups from residences or businesses
Ø Support volunteers and assist customers
Ø Seek to promote the Coalition to the community and maintain good customer relations
Ø Perform other duties as requested with a sense of humor and team spirit
Ø Occasional weekend or evening work when needed.
Qualifications

Valid driver's license
Commercial driving experience
Proficiency in operating a forklift and pallet jack
Previous experience in shuttle or delivery driving
Mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance
Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles

The Resale Associate is a fulltime position, Monday – Friday with occasional Saturday work or weekend event work. This position requires lifting of bags, boxes, furniture and appliances. Employees may also be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
