Role: RN MS/ Tele
Location: Winston Salem, NC
Shift: 12hr Days
Timing: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15)

Summary:
Experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, skilled in-patient care, monitoring, and critical thinking in fast-paced environments. Proven ability to manage complex cases with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
• Develop, implement, and adjust care plans based on patient needs and responses.
• Safely administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Observe cardiac telemetry, recognize arrhythmias, and respond promptly.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
• Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with hospital policies.

Required Skills:

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
• Skills: IV Start, Telemetry
• Certs: BCLS

Preferred Skills:

• ACLS, NIH

Job Details:

• Float Requirement: Floating required as needed.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other Weekend required.
  

Additional Notes:

• Target Ratios: 1:6/7 - 1:6 Target Ratio during normal staffing (max 1:7 ratio when census is up/ during critical staffing)
• Patients are Med Surg (We no longer accept cardiac telemetry patients as before. )
• Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• Scrubs: Navy and/or White.
• Traveler Experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers.
• Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
• Unit Orientation: 24 hours.
