Registered Nurse Supervisor (RNSUP)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and conducting regular evaluations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Oversee the administration of medications and treatments
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess overall health status
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and coordinate specialized procedures such as spinal taps
- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families
- Assist with infant care, including feeding, bathing, and monitoring developmental milestones
- Supervise the use of durable medical equipment (DME) and ensure proper maintenance
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including specialists and therapists
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong clinical skills with expertise in critical care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices
