Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse working in the Emergency Room (ER), you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide immediate care to patients in critical condition.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Triage patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity level.
2. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
3. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families during times of crisis.
5. Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, CPR, and defibrillation.
6. Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create comprehensive care plans for patients.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Prior experience working in an emergency room setting.
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Proficient in using electronic medical records.
8. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
