Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is actively seeking Registered Nurses for our skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn NY
Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is located directly across from the Parade Grounds at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. The location of our facility takes advantage of being in the heart of Brooklyn and is close to public transportation.
DUTIES:
Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is actively seeking Registered Nurses for our skilled nursing facility in Brooklyn NY
Caton Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is located directly across from the Parade Grounds at Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. The location of our facility takes advantage of being in the heart of Brooklyn and is close to public transportation.
DUTIES:
- Collecting information from the patients to be admitted; medical records, insurance details
- Recording health details of patients; including vitals & temperature
- Administering medications and injections to patients as needed
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed
- Responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families.
- Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests.
- Maintain resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
- Maintain documentation of resident care services.
- Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams.
- Starting Rate $50-55 hourly.
- Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Long-Term Care experience preferred.
- Should be a strong and positive team director for all members of the staff.
- Should be familiar with EHR and Eperscribing programs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
