Graduate of an accredited program in nursing. Previous experience in general duty nursing preferred, but not required. Employee must demonstrate ability to recognize patients' individual needs based on medical conditions, age adolescents, young adults, middle-aged and geriatric), limitations and planned procedures. Requires good judgment in delivering patient care; good oral and written communication skills; ability to function in stressful situations; current review in CPR. Must be willing to rotate shifts, days off and work area; may occasionally be required to work overtime. Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state.
