Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in Northwest Missouri. As an RBT, you will work closely with individuals with autism, providing support and teaching skills to help them reach their full potential. Your role will involve implementing behavioral programs to promote positive outcomes.
Duties:
- Implement behavior management plans developed by the supervising clinician
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism in their home or school
- Utilize behavioral principles to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development
- Collect data on client progress
- Collaborate with the supervising clinician to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
-Minimum of high school diploma or GED - Candidates with previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs will be given preference
- Willingness to complete requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician
- Clear background check
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and implement treatment plans effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
