Recycler

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Recycler to join our team. The Recycler will play a crucial role in the waste management process by operating various heavy equipment and ensuring that recyclable materials are properly sorted, processed, and prepared for reuse. This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steer, front end loader, cardboard bailer, tire cutter. Yard jockey experience is a plus.
Perform sanitation duties to maintain cleanliness in the recycling area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Sort and process recyclable materials, ensuring proper handling to maximize recycling efforts.
Dig and assist in the loading of materials as needed, utilizing loader operation skills effectively.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Engage in heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injuries.
Collaborate with team members to optimize recycling processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred, including familiarity with forklifts and loader operations.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, demonstrating physical stamina and strength.
Experience operating forklifts, skid steer, front end loader, cardboard bailer, tire cutters is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver's license may be required depending on the specific duties assigned.
