A flexible work schedule is important as this position requires weekends! Duties and responsibilities
Provide first-class customer service with every patient encounter.
Display a positive, professional attitude while serving patient needs and working with fellow team members.
Actively manage the front desk by performing the following tasks:
Answering phone calls and checking the office voicemail
Scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments
Checking and replying to messages received through Doctible and the office email.
Learning and utilizing various online insurance systems to check patient eligibility and submit insurance claims.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA.
Operate the following optometric equipment:
Automated visual acuity chart
Clarifye
i Care tonometer
Automated lensometer
Visual field
OCT
Optomap digital retinal imaging
Clean, open up, and shut down all optometric equipment and exam rooms.
General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by owners.
Skills and abilities

Reliable transportation to get to and from the practice.
Flexibility and motivation to accomplish tasks and take initiative within the practice.
Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Ability to arrive at work at least 15 minutes before patient care is scheduled.
