Schedule: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday (5pm-3:30am)
Pay: Starting at $22/hr, raises at conversion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (Chemistry, Food Science, Biochemistry, etc.)
- Basic math and science skills with lab bench work experience
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the p H, viscosity, water activity, brix, density, taste, color, texture and appearance of ingredients, in-process, and finished products
- Perform titrations to obtain salt, lactic and acetic acid concentrations
- Prepare flavors and dyes for ingredients
- Inspect production lines and validate integrity of all testing components
- Assist in projects involving shelf-life studies and auditing retains
